MBAM welcomes the announcement by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak on 24th April 2009 on the removal with immediate effect the 30% Bumiputera requirement for 27 service sub-sectors under the liberalization of the services sector. This coupled with the announcement of the liberalization of the financial sector on 27th  April 2009 would create the structural changes needed to beef up the finance sector and the general economy which hopefully could attract more foreign investments into the country.
